Day 31 - Cambridge Machas visit London
Cambridge Machas came down to London for a travel fair. We were suppose to meet for lunch and I invited them over for dinner. Well, there were some things that need to be prepared first......
My flat mate, Yifan, happen to know Royce too during his days in Cambridge. Royce wanted to try Four Seasons roast duck, so we met there for lunch.
They went on to watch their Avenue Q while I went back. Met Keng Rui later where he prepared his "Keng Rui Mushrooms". A weird night - my Turkish flatmate brought over 2 friends, but left before the Avenue Q group came. But my Italian flatmate brought over 2 friends, when one of them lives in another flat in the same residence. When asked if I can have the kitchen table while she was still cooking, she told me "why don't you all just stand"
So we moved it to my room. Turns out to be cosier, while those people were smoking away (illegally) in the kitchen.
Roasting peanuts.
Sambal chilli. If only there was a mortar and pestal or a food processor. But no. So had to chop everything with the knife. Nearly murdered my flatmates with the chilli fumes and toasting powdered belachan.
Chicken curry before coconut milk. Left till evening to develop the flavour.

Was coaxed into taking this touristy photo.
Lunch was great, but I'm not a roast duck fan. hehe. We brought Nardev and Royce around before their Avenue Q.

Hyde (over-rated park). Snowmen melting away, felt like a Snowman graveyard.
Squirrel posing.
Walked down Oxford Street. The crowd and paranoia made Royce realised why I'll prefer to live in Cambridge than London anytime.
Hare Krishna procession down Oxford Street.

It was nice having them over. :)
