Day 120 - Plants in my room

While taking a break from revision, I looked up at the window and this is what I saw. I couldn't help but take a photo of this beautiful sight.

Yes, I have 2 potted plants in my room - a basil and thyme. At less than 90p per pot, it is a lot more worth it than buying packets of herbs. And they are raised with old bottles to ensure that they have sufficient sunlight.

This basil plant survived for 4 months odd, from the lack of water when I was away during my travels, trauma when it dropped off the ledge onto my bed a few times etc. It's from such perspective do I appreciate how plants arrange themselves to get as much sunlight as possible.

Thank goodness for the rain - if not the fairies are going to fly around again!
