Day 129 - Last Saturday in London
Today is my last Saturday in London. Why so? Next Saturday, I would be on the Dorset roadtrip with the ladies. The weekend after, I would be at Lake District with Royce and Yi Fan. And the weekend after, I would be at Giant's Causeway with Royce, Yi Fan and Nardev. And after that, I would have moved out of London.
Decided to visit Brunswick to see their Saturday's farmers' market for one last time. Today, it seems a lot more full of life, with more stalls selling food. The same guy selling Paella, the same guy selling handmade pasta, the same guy selling Turkish deserts offering samples. Skoob books have the same shelves and containers of 2nd hand books, the same expensive cupcakes and brownies, the same cheese shops, the same vegetables shop.
New stalls seem to have emerged. A Melayu kitchen, but sambal made up of eggplant? Some Korean stall, some Thai stall selling Phad Thai from a huge aluminium tray. Looking at the limp texture, I conclude I can cook a better one than them.
The small, but cosy market. There are always families and friends sitting, chatting, running around.
Murtabak? Nah, it's Moroccan Flatbread. But it taste a little like Murtabak though.
I would always see this outside International Hall, which is what I'll walk past if I'm going to and fro Russell Square and Brunswick.
I'll miss Saturdays walking around the market and looking at the interesting things. Even though I don't buy anything.
